Preston Celebrates The King’s Coronation

The Preston King’s Coronation Celebrations (PKCC) committee representing Preston Cricket Club, Preston Parish Council, St. Martin’s Church, The Preston Trust and The Red Lion has been formed to work together with Preston Nursery and Primary Schools, and you to create a wonderful celebration of the King’s Coronation and our special community.

Sunday 7th May starting at 12 00 am – The Coronation Big Lunch

An afternoon of fun, festivities and friendship – including two competitions:

1. The Great Preston Bake Off

2. The King’s Coronation Fancy Dress Parade and Competition

Monday 8 May – The Big Help Out Walk

A FUNd Raising Walk for Local Good Causes Within the Parish. We hope you will join us on one of our walks on Monday the 8th of May to raise money for local charities. There will be two routes, a long one to Minsden Chapel and a shorter one around the Tatmore loop. Meet on The Village Green at 10:30am, chose your route, donate some cash and hike, with friends, family, strangers and a dog.
