Christmas Tree Light Switch On ~ 30 Nov @ 4:30

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS SWITCH ON

On the Village Green in front of The Red Lion

SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER
Starting at 4:30 pm

The  Salvation Army brass band will be playing on The Green as everyone arrives, and mince pies, mulled wine and other goodies will be served. Any child who wants one (and adults if they really want) will be given a free raffle ticket.

The winner will be lighting Preston’s Christmas Lights. With a magical button, they will switch on the Christmas tree lights, the lights on the front of the Red Lion, and the North Star itself!

We will be entertained by our amazing Christmas Angels with 2 or 3 Christmas songs. Then it’s everyone’s turn to sing out to their hearts’ content with some joyful carols. It doesn’t matter how you sing; it’s the coming together and having a great time.

Carol sheets will be available to help you remember the words and, for those of you who prefer technology, you will be able to download them to your phones or to access from the Village website https://www.prestonvillageherts.com/christmas-carols/ if you’d prefer.

Ray and Jo have once again kindly agreed to prepare the mulled wine and mince pies, the juice and nibbles. (Including ‘free from’ alternatives for those with allergies.)

This is a wonderful way to start the Christmas season and to celebrate it and our special community.

We look forward to seeing you thereThe Preston Trust committee – Adrian, Halyna, Jax, Liza, Sam, Rae and Wal
